- Ocior Energy signed MoU with the Government of Jordan on 05th December 2023 for development of green hydrogen and green ammonia project near Aqaba Port.
- Jordan has excellent solar and wind resource to generate cost competitive green hydrogen and green fuels. Market conditions are in place for Jordan to become a global powerhouse in local and global green energy transition.

Jordan is actively exploring green hydrogen and its derivatives as key components of its Sustainable Energy Strategy, aiming to harness renewable resource for producing clean fuels like Hydrogen, ammonia and methanol. These initiatives aligns with Jordan’s commitment to reducing carbon emissions and fostering environmental sustainability.‘
